Each year, Holly's parents know they will receive art for special occasions.
Bill requested his portrait from a photograph and to try to preserve the
goofy quality of him and his big fish. She loved the challenge and added
an additional eliment. Since Bill's dad died of lung cancer, and the smokes
were in his pocket, she emphasized the relationship to the condition of the
fish through the use of red. A gentle reminder to keep trying to quit smoking.
