Below, you will find Holly’s work categorized into like galleries with brief descriptions of what, who and or why behind the pieces.  Most are unavailable, but commissioned pieces are welcome.  Duplicate paintings will not be created.  Email Holly with details at request@hallidayward.com

Animals:  Although animals are not her favorite things to paint or draw, they have appeared in her work over the years.  She has always resisted the little dear paintings and cute little animals, but they also seemed to have found their way into her art.  When surrounded by people who love their animals, sometimes we just can’t live in our void.

Animal Portraits:  Holly has created several portraits of pets, her own, and of others over the years.  Browse this section to see how she might portray your favorite animal; then contact her for details.

Cars: Holly has created lots of car or truck work over the years.  Her father has been a collector all of Holly’s life.  One cannot be the daughter of an old car buff without learning to appreciate some of that beauty herself.

College:  College was a major time of growth and exploration.  Most things created, did not go home with Holly.  She couldn’t afford to ship it all.  So, most was given to close friends and their families.  Some even went to the curb and I only hope they might have been discovered before the dump.  That was an incredibly hard thing to do.

Dreams:  Active imaginations spill over into and out of dreams and sometimes nightmares.  There are not a lot of these but some must be depicted.

Daisies:  Holly’s mom is named Daisy, and their meaning is of innocence and fun.  She has done so many of these, that they needed their own space.

Flowers:  Holly has a special fondness of floral painting.  Here are some of what she’s done and if you want her to paint your special flowers, contact her.

Illustrations:  Holly has done some illustrating, some from school, but more recently for a couple of authors.  These have yet to be published in their books, but hopefully some day.  She has lost touch with one, and waiting for the publisher on a new one.  Illustrating seems to be a lot of hurry up and wait and wait.  Hopefully they will blend into a masterful work.

Nature:  Do you share Holly’s love of nature?  Most are of Alaska, Idaho and Montana, but if you suggest a place that you would like to see in paint, contact the artist for possibilities.

Past Drawings: This is where you will find a history of Holly Halliday Ward’s drawings, sketches and illustrations.  See something you like?  Contact holly for possible connections to that piece.

People Portraits:  Holly Halliday Wards portraits have always been a special struggle for her to create.  This is where you will find the portraits she has created, mostly at the earnest request of those depicted, or of their loved ones.  These are not available, but if you like, contact holly for the creation of a commissioned portrait of you or your family member.  (25% nonrefundable down-payment will be needed to begin portrait as they are time consuming and have a limited market.)

Student Work:  This is where you will find a history of Holly Halliday’s work while she was still in high school.
